The Happie Boys, a group of Nigerian boys sponsored to study in Cyprus by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), recently caused a stir with a controversial post on Instagram.
In their post, the Happie Boys emphatically stated, “We never sacrifice lion cubs. It’s a bone that will choke your neck!”
This comes after the boys had previously taken to social media to express their grievances against Apostle Chinyere, accusing him of abandoning them in Cyprus after just six months.
The Happie Boys had been granted scholarships by Apostle Chinyere after being fired from their previous jobs for dancing while on duty.
However, the group claims that the Apostle left them to fend for themselves after only half a year, despite sponsoring their travel and providing them with scholarships in Cyprus. The post by the Happie Boys has sparked significant attention on social media.
