A Nigerian woman, known on Twitter as @Deenayaah, recently shared a fascinating anecdote about her friend’s experience of bringing her Nigerian boyfriend to the United States. The decision was driven by her perception of a lack of high-quality men in America.
Deenayaah explained that her friend made the bold choice to travel all the way to Nigeria to bring her boyfriend, who had been unemployed for three years after losing his job, back to the United States.
The friend’s motivation for this unconventional action stemmed from the belief that there is a scarcity of exceptional men in America. In her words:
“One of our friends actually flew down to Nigeria to bring back her boyfriend, who has been jobless for three years since losing his job. This is simply because there is a shortage of quality men, or rather, men in general. Nigerian men are among the finest in the world, yet we fail to appreciate them. Why is that?”
