Woman who lost her mother and 5 children speaks following the Yelwata attack in Benue state.
It would be recalled that the community was attacked on Friday night, at about 10 pm till the early hours of Saturday morning.
The attack had left over 200 people dead and others injured.
A video making the rounds captured a woman who was said to have lost 5 of her children to the attack, including her beloved mother.
The woman, with eyes reddened by sorrow, was seen speaking to the press about the incident.
The UK based Nigerian, doctor @OurFavOnlineDoc who shared the video captioned …
“This lady lost all her 5 children and she also lost her mother at the recent Yelwata Massacre in Benue State.
The pain is deep and piercing.
How do you console someone like this?
How do you tell her to “reconcile” with those who wiped out her family”
