In the widely circulated footage, Egungun of Lagos is seen sharing a kiss with his pet monkey, which appears to be a gesture of affection.
While enjoying a drink from a can, he engaged in playful interactions with the animal, even offering it a sip. Subsequently, he puckered his lips, seemingly inviting the monkey to reciprocate, which it did. Following this, he ran, prompting the monkey to chase after him. After taking a seat, he once again extended an invitation for a kiss.
The video has sparked significant controversy, with many social media users criticizing Egungun of Lagos for his behavior with the monkey, labeling him as unsanitary.
