Liverpool came from behind to beat Bournemouth 3-1 in a thrilling Premier League clash at Anfield.
Bournemouth took the lead in the 20th minute through a goal from Dominic Solanke, but Liverpool responded with goals from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Naby Keita.
The win was Liverpool’s second in a row in the Premier League and moved them up to third place in the table.
Liverpool started the game brightly and created several chances, but they were unable to find the breakthrough until the 35th minute.
Salah latched onto a pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold and fired a low shot past Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.
Bournemouth equalized in the 42nd minute when Solanke turned and fired a shot into the bottom corner.
Liverpool came out of the break determined to win the game and they took the lead in the 55th minute.
Mane cut inside from the left and fired a shot into the bottom corner.
Keita made it 3-1 in the 70th minute with a curling shot from outside the box.
Liverpool could have scored more goals, but they were denied by some good saves from Travers.
The win was a good response from Liverpool after their disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest in their previous game.
They will now be looking to build on this result and challenge for the Premier League title this season.
