A gadget vendor has placed a ₦100,000 bounty on a customer who allegedly stole a laptop from his shop, as revealed by CCTV footage.
The incident was shared on TikTok by the vendor, @engrdom, who posted a video showing the suspect calmly seated in the shop.
While others were distracted, the man discreetly picked a laptop placed behind him and tucked it inside his shirt before walking away unnoticed.
The stolen laptop is reportedly worth several thousands of naira.
According to the vendor, he only discovered the theft after reviewing the CCTV footage while searching for the missing item.
In a bid to catch the suspect, he is now offering a ₦100,000 reward to anyone with useful information that could lead to an arrest.
In his words: “This same guy just did the same to one of my colleagues at New BANEX shop B41. We need to look out for this guy. I, Dom-marc, still maintain my ₦100k bounty on his head.”
As the video spread online, concerned Nigerians flooded the comment section to express their outrage and offer support.
