U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States had launched coordinated airstrikes on Saturday night, June 21, on three key nuclear facilities in Iran.
He made this known via his social media pages.
In a message shared via X, Trump stated that the targeted locations were Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, installations central to the nation’s uranium enrichment and nuclear development efforts.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
According to U.S. defense officials, the operation was executed using B-2 Spirit stealth bombers equipped with GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs—30,000-pound bunker-busting weapons engineered to destroy heavily fortified underground structures.
The B-2, a highly advanced aircraft in America’s arsenal, is currently the only platform capable of deploying such munitions.
The Fordow nuclear facility, deeply embedded within a mountain and known for its high-grade uranium enrichment capabilities, was reportedly the primary target.
Western powers have long viewed Fordow as a significant proliferation risk. The strike leaned heavily on the stealth and power of the B-2 to deliver precision damage while avoiding detection.
