The Real Reason Behind Ghanaian Artist Black Sherif's Arrest Revealed
In a recent development, the true cause of Ghanaian artist Black Sherif‘s, also known as Blacko, arrest has come to light following his detention at the station.
Reports indicate that Black Sherif was apprehended at the Kotoka International Airport shortly after arriving due to allegations made by a cruise ship company. The company accused him of accepting payment but failing to perform at one of their cruise ship events.
Cruise People Limited, also known as ‘Your Cruise People,' had reportedly paid a substantial sum to Black Sherif's management for the artist to perform at the Afro Cruise Jam, the second edition of its musical cruise scheduled for August 19, 2023, in Greece.
The agreement entailed Black Sherif's management charging Cruise People Ltd a significant amount of Forty Thousand United States Dollars ($40,000), with an initial payment of Twenty Thousand United States Dollars ($20,000) made to seal the deal. This payment was meant to confirm the artist's participation and availability for the event.
However, after the deal was confirmed, Cruise People Limited awaited a video from Black Sherif, intended to inform their audience about his performance at the cruise ship show. Allegedly, the artist refused to fulfill his part of the contract, leading to his arrest on charges of breach of contract.
