Twitter Influencer, Sir Jarus Arrested For Beating His Wife

Twitter influencer, Suraj Oyewale aka Sir Jarus has been arrested.

He was arrested for assaulting his wife. The update of his arrest was given on Twitter by @lagosdsva.

The update reads:

Update: @SirJarus is currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.

As the Statutory Agency in Lagos State dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence, we take this very seriously.

We have, as an Agency referred this to the Commissioner of Police (Gender Desk Department) to ensure that investigation commences.

Recall that the wife had taken to Tiktok to complain on April 25, 2024.

The wife posted on TikTok herself that the husband used to beat her. Check some of her pictures as well, her face clearly showed he used to beat her regularly.

Jarus has since admitted beating his wife.
