Popular TikTok streamer Tunde Akinpelu, known as Tunde Perry, has sparked widespread conversation online after posting a viral video addressing tribalism in Nigeria.
Tunde, who recently faced backlash over comments about Mecca, took aim at activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) following his remarks on E-Money’s arrest. VDM had suggested that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) acted in a tribalistic manner by targeting E-Money while allegedly ignoring similar actions by the Okoya brothers.
In response, Tunde Perry cautioned VDM against fueling ethnic divisions, emphasizing in his video that the Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba communities are united and should not be pitted against each other. He urged influencers to be mindful of the narratives they promote online.
Tunde’s message quickly went viral, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to share their thoughts, both in support and opposition.
Meanwhile, E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo Daniel, has regained his freedom after being arrested for allegedly spraying naira and foreign currencies at Obi Cubana’s birthday party. He has since reassured his fans through a post on social media, thanking them for their support and concern.
