Former Los Angeles FC forward Gareth Bale has shared his thoughts with Lionel Messi regarding his move to Inter Miami, stating that the Argentine star would find Major League Soccer (MLS) enjoyable.
During an interview with Peter Crouch on BT Sport, Bale emphasized that in comparison to the Spanish La Liga, there would be less pressure on Messi when it comes to losing matches in MLS.
Bale expressed, “In MLS, things are a lot more chilled. If you lose at Real Madrid, it feels like the world has ended. You face severe criticism and feel low. However, in America, they have a more accepting attitude towards losing. There aren’t any major consequences, and relegation is not a concern.”
He further explained, “After a defeat, you move on to the next game. Losing is better accepted there. They understand how to handle losses, but they also celebrate every victory as if they’ve won the championship. Without a doubt, he will thoroughly enjoy it.”
