Chelsea striker, David Datro Fofana is set to join their Premier League rivals, Burnley on loan.
Blues boss, Mauricio Pochettino, only recalled Fofana from another loan spell at Union Berlin this January.
However, there is no space for him in the squad and Pochettino is sending him out again to gain experience in England’s top flight.
Fofana will play under Vincent Kompany until the end of the season.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday night.
Romano tweeted: “David Datro Fofana to Burnley, here we go! Agreement in place for the striker to join on loan deal.
“Understand there’s NO buy option, Chelsea believe PL experience will be key.
“Medical on Saturday. Salary 100% covered by Burnley.”
