Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga could be set for a shock move to Premier League rivals Arsenal this summer.
Kepa spent the whole of last season on loan at Bournemouth.
But the Spaniard is set to return to Stamford Bridge, although he is expected to depart again, whether on loan or permanently.
The 30-year-old is believed to have a £5 million release clause, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is in the market for a backup to David Raya.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, initial talks have taken place.
Romano wrote on X on Thursday: “Arsenal are informed on £5m release clause for Kepa as option to be David Raya’s backup.
“Initial talks took place to be informed on deal conditions, as Sky UK reports.”
