Tragedy strikes as 27-year-old man, Ramon Diaz Soria, passes away after jumping into Georgia’s Lake Lanier.
The tragic news was reported by renowned gossip blog, The Spiritual World, via its Instagram account.
According to the blog, the tragic incident occurred on June 14, 2025, during a friend’s birthday celebration, and Ramon Diaz was wearing a life jacket that was improperly fitted.
Furthermore, his body wasn’t recovered until the next day at a depth of 60 feet, located using sonar equipment by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Notably, Lake Lanier, known for its tragic history, has seen over 200 deaths between 1994 and 2002, mostly due to drowning.
