President Bola Tinubu Expresses Gratitude for ECOWAS Chairmanship in Photos
President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt appreciation to the leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) for electing him as the chairman of this esteemed regional organization.
Tinubu was elected during the 63rd ordinary session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in the capital city of Guinea-Bissau, Bissau, which took place on Sunday.
“I am deeply grateful to my esteemed colleagues for bestowing upon me the honor of serving as the chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS,” said Tinubu. He further expressed that this election is a remarkable endorsement of Nigeria's ongoing leadership within the sub-region and the African continent.
