A pandemonium has begun on social media after a video surfaced showing an unidentified OAU lecturer punching a student.
The video was posted on Twitter by, @blackfola1, where he was seeking justice for the student.
From information given by the sister of the student who was punched, the boy mistakenly entered the class of the lecturer thinking it was his.
However, voices in the video shows that the man was asking the student to switch off his phone, but the boy refused, asking what he did before the lecturer pounced on him.
Many Nigerians have condemned this act, calling it wrong and oppression of the student by the lecturer.
