A suspected thief broke into gospel worship and begged Jesus to save his soul after residents called the police on him over alleged theft.
The incident was captured in a video shared on TikTok by user @globalstar_, showing the man seated on the ground with his hands raised to his chest in a worship-like posture.
According to the post, titled “Thief caught, moment after the police arrived, he began to sing gospel songs,” the man began singing shortly after the authorities arrived at the scene.
In the video, he can be heard singing: “Daddy, save my soul. Jesus, send mercy to me.”
He also made several other emotional statements in the clip.
