“I was grieving my only brother. I was anxious, disconnected, and angry at God,” he shares. “Music stopped feeling like home. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to live, let alone record.”
For months, Tobi quietly stepped away from secular music and started journaling, praying, and posting raw faith content online. “I Surrender” was born in that dark, quiet space.
