Nigerian actress Regina Chukwu has emotionally recounted the final moments of her late husband’s life, revealing the excruciating pain he endured before his passing.
In a heartfelt video shared on her YouTube channel, Regina explained that as her husband’s health rapidly deteriorated, she took him back to his village in search of alternative treatments. His family sought help from both pastors and herbalists, hoping to alleviate his suffering. However, despite their best efforts, his condition continued to worsen, and the pain became unbearable.
In a gut-wrenching moment, Regina recalled how her husband, overcome with pain, pleaded with her to find a doctor who could administer a lethal injection to end his agony. Tragically, he passed away in 2003, leaving behind Regina and their two children. She had been married to him for just four years.
Regina’s brave sharing of her emotional experience sheds light on the pain and loss she faced as a widow and single mother.
She said: “When my husband’s sickness got worse, I decided to take him to his village, and when his family saw him, they couldn’t believe how badly the sickness had affected him. His parents invited pastors and herbalists to give him some treatment,”
“My husband begged me to find him a doctor that will inject him with poison so that he could die. He said the pain was too much for him to bear and that he couldn’t endure it any longer.”
