Gospel singer Peterson Okopi is engaged to fashion designer Prudent Gabriel.
On Monday, July 1, the very joyful musician turned to Instagram to share photos and videos of his engagement.
In his initial post, Peterson Okopi published photos of himself with a beautifully illuminated sign behind him that asked, “Will you marry me?”
He captioned the image, “IN THE BEGINNING……….. Happy new month, family.”
In another video post, Peterson can be seen smiling as he presents the engagement ring, which is still in its box.
The video also shows him clutching a flower, mouthing the line “She said yes,” and grasping his fiancée’s hands.
The Osuba singer captioned the picture, “A NEW DAWN.” Watch for the whole proposal video on my YouTube channel by 4 p.m.
Prudent, his fiancée, also posted an Instagram photo of herself with the flowers, showing off her engagement ring. She captioned the photo: “I said YES To The One That God Purposed Specially For Me.”
In another post shared by Prudent on the photo-sharing app, she posted several pictures of herself and her fiancé, all ‘loved-up’ with smiles on their faces.
She captioned the photo, “When God said WAIT, I didn’t understand until you showed up.”
Peterson is signed to TWC Records based in Lagos.
