A Nigerian photographer has taken to social media to share a disturbing message he received from a female client who cursed him after receiving her edited pictures.
The post, which surfaced on the popular platform TikTok, included screenshots of a WhatsApp message allegedly sent by the client.
In the lengthy message, the woman hurled curses at the photographer, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the photos and accusing him of ruining her day.
She wrote: “You know the way you ruin my day, God will also ruin your life. Cause with the stupid lateness fee and all, see the rubbish you delivered. Your business will turn to sorrow for you…”
The message went on to curse his health, family, livelihood, and future, stating that he would “work and mercy will not speak” for him, and that “customers will go from 100 to zero.” It ended with a chilling line: “You will ask for mercy, you will not see—Insha Allah.”
In his post, the photographer captioned the message with a plea: “Please, are the pictures bad enough to deserve such a curse?”
Sharing his side of the story, he explained that the client had booked a 3:00 PM shoot but didn’t arrive until 5:27 PM— a delay of 2 hours and 27 minutes.
Despite the late arrival and other pending bookings, he still went ahead with her session and ensured she got her photos on time.
“I remembered how she called to beg that she wanted her pictures the same day, and I said yes,” he wrote. “After she got them, this was her response. What have I done to deserve such? To me, the pictures are not bad.”
The post quickly gained traction, drawing a flood of reactions in the comment section. Many expressed sympathy for the photographer, while others criticized the client’s extreme response.
