Peller Expresses Frustration Over Inability To Stream 17th Headies Awards

Habeeb Hamsat, the popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator also known as Peller, has openly shared his frustration after failing to livestream the 17th Headies Awards. The event took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

In a video that surfaced online, Peller appeared visibly upset as he explained that despite his best efforts to stream the prestigious awards show for his followers, there were several obstacles placed in his way by people he had trusted to assist him.

“I have put it on my channel. People were like Peller, your glory no reach Headies. I am not happy at all,” Peller said, expressing his discontent.

According to him, certain individuals he reached out to for support at the event refused to cooperate and instead presented unreasonable “terms and conditions” that made it impossible for him to carry out his plan.

“Some people don’t want to help me. They are not ready to help. They are wicked. They came to me, but they were not replying me. They were giving terms and conditions. Don’t worry, it is nothing,” Peller added in the video.

Beyond his frustration with the streaming issue, Peller also mentioned that many of the celebrities he had hoped to see at the event were absent, which further added to his disappointment.

“All the celebrities I wanted to see did not come. If it were to be Grammy now, I would have been more pained,” he concluded.
