The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has pledged its commitment to supporting the Niger State Police Command in maintaining peace and security in the state.
The PCRC National Vice Chairman, North Central Geo-Political Zone, Mr. Tanko Dada, made the pledge when he led newly elected executives of Zone 7 on a courtesy visit to Niger State Police Command in Minna.
Dada who introduced the newly elected Zone 7 PCRC Chairman, Otunba Bolaji Adigun along with other zonal and state executives, also pleaded on behalf of his members that the CP should view them as not just partners but family.
The PCRC also vowed to provide valuable intelligence and support to help the police tackle security challenges in the state.
Niger State Commissioner of Police, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, in his response, thanked the executives and commended them for being active advocates for the police nationwide.
He also assured them of maximum cooperation and support in helping to achieve thier goals whilst appreciating them for the visit.
