Media personality, Ossai Ovie Success has criticized Nigerian superstar singers, Burna Boy and Wizkid for refusing to attend the wedding of their colleague, Davido.
Davido and Chioma had on Tuesday tied the knot in Lagos with friends and family members in attendance.
While the event witnessed the presence of celebrities from all cadres of the entertainment industry, his two known adversaries failed to attend the wedding.
Addressing the snub, Ossai Ovie described the snub as unnecessary and a chance to write their difference and bury old hatchets.
“I am disappointed in Burna Boy and Wizkid absence from Davido’s wedding
Burna Boy and Wizkid absence is worrisome. I’m disheartened by Burna Boy and Wizkid’s absence from Davido’s wedding, despite their past differences.
“At the wedding, I was looking out for Burna Boy and Wizkid surprise appearance.
Irrespective of their differences, they ought to have surprised Davido.
Attending a colleague’s significant event like a wedding is a gesture of love and support even if you are not invited.
“It’s an opportunity missed to show love and support even when it’s inconvenient.
Our celebrities should strive for unity and celebrate each other’s milestones, putting aside past grievances. Let’s foster a culture of love and support, rather than perpetuating conflicts.”
