Galatasaray have been hit with a major blow in their attempt to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have not accepted Galatasaray’s last offer of €70m in five installments for Osimhen.
The Serie A champions are demanding €75m to be paid in two installments and with letters of credit from the bank.
This is coming less than a few days after Galatasaray suffered a big blow in their attempt to secure Osimhen’s signing on a permanent transfer from Napoli.
Napoli opted to to turn down Osimhen’s release clause amount of €75million.
Osimhen spent the whole of last season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.
The 26-year-old had already made it clear that he wants to join the Turkish giants and has since reached a personal agreement of a three-year deal plus an option of one year with them.
Osimhen had also made it clear that he won’t turn up for Napoli’s pre-season in the coming days.
