Famous Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has opened
up about her battle with a life threatening illness.
The 46-year-old made this known in a video shared on her
Instagram page on Thursday.
Captioning the trending video, she disclosed that she
underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder.
While expressing gratitude to God, Omolola said “have you
been told by the doctor that there’s nothing more we can do at this time? And
you still feel like you are dying.”
Explaining how it started, she said “I threw up all night.
By the morning the most dilapidated stomach pain started and I was rushed again
to the emergency for the third time!
“This time, I was wheeled in for a CT scan, ultrasound and
an MRI. Then the doctor said I have to go in for surgery immediately to remove
my gallbladder. So the fight for my life began.”
