Prominent Nigerian media figure, Nedu Wazobia, has issued a public apology to anyone who may have been offended by his previous comments on The Honest Bunch Podcast.
Recently, Nedu convened a press conference in Lagos to clarify various speculations and rumors surrounding him, including allegations of exchanging sex for movie roles. During this event, he expressed his regret and sought forgiveness from those who may have been hurt by his statements.
“I am a child of God and I serve God, I’m an Igbo boy from Enugu state and I don’t hurt anybody and I can never hurt anyone’. If I have said something that has hurt you personally, please, forgive me.” He also took the opportunity to appreciate his fans and followers for their unwavering support, despite the controversies surrounding him.
“To all my followers and fans, you guys have been so worried, thank you for your love. Thank you to those who have stuck with me, for those of you who know me and have said nothing, I understand, trust me. And for those who know me added my alcohol, thank you too. I forgive everybody and I love everybody.”
Nedu’s apology comes in the wake of heightened public scrutiny and mixed reactions regarding his involvement in contentious discussions on his podcast, The Honest Bunch. This follows allegations made by VeryDarkMan, who claimed that Nedu solicited sexual favors from women in exchange for movie roles and threatened to disclose the names of celebrities Nedu allegedly engaged with for such purposes. VeryDarkMan’s accusations have led to a surge of additional claims and speculations about Nedu, although he has chosen not to respond to these allegations.
