A Nigerian man who allegedly owns over 30 filling stations is being called out for neglecting his children, who reportedly run a POS business outside one of his stations under the scorching sun.
This was revealed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @d_LegalEagle, who identified the man as her uncle.
According to her, despite his vast wealth and numerous properties, including shopping complexes on Lagos Island, he refuses to sponsor the education of his children and has subjected them and his wife to hardship.
She claimed that the man sometimes employs his own children at his stations only to sack them at will.
She also alleged that he gave his wife a shop barely the size of a toilet in one of his complexes and even attempted to evict her until she intervened.
The lady wrote: “This life ehn. I’m at my ‘uncle’s’ filling station: one of over 30 he owns. Yet his son hustles outside at the POS under the scorching sun. How does a man have so much wealth, yet his wives and children live in lack? The day he dies, some of us might dance, not mourn.”
She added: “He doesn’t even sponsor their education. He sometimes gives them jobs at his station and then sacks them. He has shopping complexes at Lagos Island but his wife’s shop there is as small as a toilet. He even wanted to evict her if not for my intervention.”
“I’ve been around since birth. Wallahi, this isn’t third-party gist. I’ve seen him beat his wife. I’ve seen him disown his kids. I’ve seen him strip them of access to their livelihoods. I lost my favorite big brother because he was simply trying to hustle on his own.”
Her post drew widespread attention as many netizens took to the comment section to express concern and criticism over the man’s alleged behavior.
