Callum Hudson-Odoi has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United and Napoli, as Nottingham Forest scramble to tie the winger down to a new contract.
The 24-year-old, who joined Forest from Chelsea in 2023, played a crucial role in their historic return to European competition, netting five goals and registering three assists in 36 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign.
His standout performances have not gone unnoticed, with AS Roma also reportedly monitoring his situation.
According to The Sun, Forest are in active negotiations to extend Hudson-Odoi’s contract, which expires in 2026.
The club views him as a key asset and have tabled a lucrative offer to convince him to stay.
However, sources suggest the player is weighing his options following a breakthrough season interrupted only by a late hamstring injury.
“Talks are ongoing and Forest have presented him with a new deal,” a source close to the player told The Sun. “But there’s also serious interest from abroad like Napoli and Roma. Let’s see if he’s happy with what’s on the table.”
Manchester United, under new manager Ruben Amorim, are said to be seeking dynamic attacking reinforcements, and Hudson-Odoi has re-emerged as a target after a failed inquiry in January, reports Goal.
Amorim is reshaping the squad and views the England international as a creative option.
