A Nigerian man, who appears to know the UNIZIK lecturer confronted by a student, has reacted to the incident, stating that the devil used her. He also advised her to register for JAMB.
In a post shared on his page via a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), the young man weighed in on the controversy, condemning the student’s actions. He described her move as both bold and regrettable.
His reaction comes just hours after the female student went viral for assaulting a lecturer.
In the widely circulated video, she was seen slapping him, tearing his clothes, and even biting him after he held onto her outfit and refused to let go.
Reports indicate that the altercation began when the lecturer attempted to seize her phone following an alleged act of disrespect.
The student had reportedly reacted after he tapped her while passing through a walkway.
Following the incident, the female student released a statement claiming she had no idea he was a lecturer and accused him of inappropriately holding her chest.
The lecturer also issued his own account, explaining how the situation unfolded.
Amid the controversy, a young man took to social media to advise the student on the possible consequences of her actions.
He wrote: “I’m sorry for that girl who slapped and tore a lecturer’s shirt in UNIZIK today. First of all, I know that lecturer to be a very calm and respectful man in the Faculty of Arts, but the devil decided to use that young lady today.”
“She should just go and register for JAMB because the UNIZIK I attended won’t let her get away with it. If she knows what’s good for her, she should consider transferring to Benin, Ghana, or maybe a private university in Nigeria.”
“Even if the school forgives her, the lecturers in her department will make her studies unbearable.”
He further noted that the school might not forgive her, and even if it does, other lecturers across different departments could make her academic journey extremely difficult.
