Lamine Yamal will miss Barcelona‘s United States pre-season tour, among other key players of the club.
The Catalan side are set to embark on their pre-season tour in US on July 23, with lined-up matches against Manchester City, Real Madrid, and AC Milan.
However, rising Spanish sensation, Yamal will not be joining the squad, according to reports emanating from Spain.
Yamal will reportedly resume action in early August, allowing him a three-week break after the Euro 2024 tournament.
This decision is in line with Barcelona’s approach for other players like Ferran Torres and the injured Pedri, who will also miss the tour.
However, Jules Kounde, who concluded his Euro 2024 duties on July 9, is likely to participate in the tour.
Upon returning from the US on August 7, Barcelona will still miss Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi due to their commitments with Spain’s Olympic team or their post-tournament breaks.
