A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after boldly warning her boyfriend that she would leave him if he ever goes broke, insisting she can’t endure hunger in a relationship.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the lady was seen sitting beside her boyfriend in his car while expressing her views on financial stability in relationships.
She stated clearly that she could never stay with a man who is broke, adding that no woman should be expected to suffer hunger in the name of love.
Her words: “If you’re broke, I’ll leave you. If I’m with you and you tell me ‘baby, God’s time is the best’, should I stay in hunger and die?”
She continued, “Thank God you have a car, you have everything. You have money. I’ll give birth for you, I’ll even give you twins. But if you’re broke, I’ll leave.”
The video quickly went viral, drawing various reactions from social media users who flooded the comment section to share their thoughts.

@justkency: “The average looking mid 4 called herself a fine girl. That boyfriend of hers better move on to better things. She has not earned the right to run her mouth in this manner. The only thing going for her is her youth. At 35, you’d be very embarrassed to walk side by side with her.”
@freestyleli: “If he still wants to stay with her it’s very acceptable for him to be open to multiple partners with or without her knowledge and consent.”
