A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express her frustration after rain began pouring into a service apartment she rented in Lekki Phase 1 for a music recording session.
She shared the experience in a post via her page on X (formerly Twitter), where she detailed the unexpected incident.
According to her, the apartment, which was meant to be a comfortable space for work, became flooded as rainwater leaked through the ceiling.
In her words: “It started raining just now inside a service apartment where we are recording music. This is inside Lekki Phase 1 btw! Crazy!”
She emphasized that the apartment was a paid service apartment, adding that it was disappointing for such a facility to experience such poor maintenance.
A video she uploaded along with the post captured the exact moment water found its way into the room, disrupting their session.
As the post went viral, many social media users flooded the comment section to share their thoughts and reactions, with some expressing concern and others criticizing the quality of some so-called “luxury” apartments in Lagos.

@Dr_Pharouk: “This is a shower of blessings. You all need to fetch the water and use it to bathe. Trust me, your song will go viral ASAP.”
