A Nigerian lady has shared a heartbreaking account of a fatal accident involving a truck transporting cows in Osun State.
According to her narration, the driver allegedly fell asleep while driving, causing the truck to plunge into a ditch.
The incident resulted in multiple fatalities, including the driver.
The story was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @OlaideKoleosho, who also shared a video from the scene.
In her caption, she revealed that the accident occurred in Gbongan, a town in Osun State, during her journey.
She wrote: “This happened in Gbongan yesterday while I was traveling. A very big trailer carrying cows and rams fell into a ditch with so many people on board. It was said that the driver slept off while driving May the departed souls rest in peace.”
The video shows a large crowd gathered at the scene of the crash, observing the aftermath.
