The Katsina State Government has requested an explanation from the Katsina State Emirate Council over the absence of some District Heads at the 2024 Idel-Kabir Hawan Sallah celebration.
In a letter signed by Saki Rabiu Jibia, Director of Administration and Supply Government House, the Governor’s Office directed the Emirate Council to provide reasons for the non-participation of some district heads in the celebration.
The letter, dated June 27, 2024, referenced a previous letter from the Emirate Council dated June 7, 2024, and requested a prompt response.
This development suggests that the state government is keen on ensuring the participation of all stakeholders in important cultural and religious events.
