Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has openly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a recent video shared online, drawing comparisons between him and former president Muhammadu Buhari.
In the video, the outspoken activist claimed that many Nigerians privately wished it had been the current president who passed away instead of Buhari, citing widespread dissatisfaction with Tinubu’s leadership.
Reflecting on Buhari’s time in office, Verydarkman acknowledged the economic struggles Nigerians endured under his rule, but emphasized that Tinubu’s administration appears even more troubling. He pointed to failed economic policies, such as the removal of fuel subsidies, as examples of initiatives that have backfired under the current government.
He also alleged that prominent figures now avoid aligning themselves with the president or his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), due to fear of public backlash.
Verydarkman concluded by suggesting that Tinubu may ultimately be remembered as Nigeria’s worst president if the current trajectory continues.
