Popular singer, Davido acknowledges being friends with the convicted fraudster, Hushpuppi, as he notes that he never knew what he did for a living.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian socialite, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi, was convicted and sentenced to over 11 years for his role in an international fraud syndicate.
Before his arrest and conviction, Davido had been seen on multiple occassions with the socialite.
During a recent interview, Davido remarked that Hushpuppi lived life to the fullest.
He went ahead to note that for some people, they are satisfied enough to enjoy life to the full for couple of years, and suffer the consequences later.
The DMW boss revealed that he is friends with Hushpuppi, adding that his prayers go out to him.
“My prayers go out to him, he’s my friend. I just see him around I never really knew what he was doing. But he lived a good life,” Davido said in part.
