A Nigerian hair vendor has exposed a thief who disguised as a customer to steal a ₦165,000 wig from her store while pretending to be interested in her products.
The incident was shared in a video posted on the popular social media platform, TikTok.
In the video, the vendor had just returned from an outing when she grew suspicious of the woman and insisted on checking her bag.
Despite the thief’s denial and resistance, the vendor forcefully searched the bag and discovered the stolen wig.
The thief was publicly disgraced in the shop but pleaded with the vendor not to post the video online, saying, “Madam abeg, no post am.”
