Controversial actor, Yul Edochie, faces a chilly reception from Ghanaians as he joins the online dispute between Nigerians and Ghanaians over the ownership of highlife music.
The outspoken media personality recently stumbled upon a video where Ghanaians were claiming ownership of highlife music, prompting him to share his own perspective on the ongoing debate.
Yul Edochie emphatically asserted that highlife music belongs to Nigeria, and it has its roots in the talents of legendary highlife artists like Oliver de Coque, Sir Warrior, and other renowned names who were exceptionally gifted in the genre.
His statement, however, triggered mixed reactions, especially from Ghanaians who dismissed him as merely seeking attention and clout.
