Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has called on all citizens to emulate the spirit of giving as exemplified by Prophet Muhammed and be of total submission to the will of Almighty Allah
Governor Uba Sani stated this on his verified Facebook page as part of his Eid-el-Kabir message to the people of Kaduna State.
He wrote: “As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, let us not forget its true essence, which is obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unity. It is a divine reminder for every Muslim to lead a life rooted in obedience to Allah SWT, sacrifice for the greater good, and service to humanity.
“I call upon all citizens of Kaduna State to reflect deeply on this sacred meaning and strive daily to embody these values not just during the festive season, but at all times.
This season is also a moment of sober reflection for all of us in Kaduna State. We must give thanks to Almighty Allah for the peace, development, and security we are witnessing across our beloved State.
“I humbly ask that you continue to pray for our dear state, and the country, that Allah SWT may continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire us as we tackle the pressing challenges of governance, development, and security.
“May He grant us wisdom and enable us to lead with justice, fairness, and compassion.
“Let us also use this holy occasion to intercede and offer fervent prayers for the leadership of our great nation, especially our President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and all our leaders at all levels. May Almighty Allah grant them divine direction as they strive to build a righteous, peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria.
“To all those whom Allah SWT has blessed with wealth and means, I urge you to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s spirit of giving by sharing your blessings with the less privileged, and your neighbors. Let this be a time of generosity, kindness, and social solidarity.
“Finally, I wish all those traveling home for the Sallah celebrations safe journeys and joyful reunions with their families and loved ones.
“May the blessings of Eid-el-Kabir fill our lives with peace, our homes with love, and our State and Nation with unity and progress.”
