Bayer Leverkusen star, Jeremie Frimpong is all set to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Frimpong and Liverpool have “signed and sealed” a deal that will see the 24-year-old join the Reds this summer.
Romano added that the Premier League champions will announce the signing of the Dutch international as soon as possible.
“Jeremie Frimpong deal, all signed and sealed with official announcement now imminent,” Romano tweeted.
“Liverpool have their new right back for €35m.”
This comes as Trent Alexander-Arnold officially joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool this summer.
Recall that the Los Blancos had on Friday announced the signing of the England international.
Alexander-Arnold joined Xabi Alonso’s side on a six-year deal from Liverpool.
