Some fans of the Afrobeat Artist Davido, 30BG, have reportedly physically disciplined a lady who mocked the artist’s new album by using his dead son, Ifeanyi.
The lady who believed she was a Wizkid fan days ago took to her Twitter page to mock the ‘failure’ of Davido’s 5ive album.
The lady took to her page to retweet a post from Charts Africa, applauding Davido for trending at number 24 on the Worldwide Apple Music Albums chart.
Retweeting, the lady identified as Arike said Davido’s album has sunk in the music charts like how his dead son drowned in the pool.
The tweet of the lady triggered massive reactions online as many criticized her for her insensitive post. Days after her post, a member of the 30BG has shared a tweet disclosing how the lady was dealt with and how her Twitter page was deleted.
The young man wrote;
“UPDATE ‼️‼️
Arike was picked up yesterday and beaten.
Her phone was collected from her, and we made sure we deleted everything in her account . This account doesn’t exist again.
I hope others will learn from this”
