Nigerian singer Davido and his loyal fanbase, known as 30BG, are currently buzzing with mixed emotions after a video surfaced online featuring actresses Regina Daniels and Uche Montana discussing their favorite Nigerian music stars.
The clip, taken during the 17th edition of the Headies Awards held on April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, captured the two actresses looking stunning as they graced one of the biggest nights in the Nigerian music industry.
In an interview on the red carpet, Regina Daniels—actress and mother of two—was asked to name her top three Nigerian artists. She confidently listed Tekno as her number one, followed by Wizkid and Burna Boy.
In her exact words:
“Okay, first is Tekno, and then Wizkid and then Burna Boy.”
Her fellow actress Uche Montana was also asked the same question. She chose Wizkid, Burna Boy, and rising star Shallipopi as her top three.
The interviewer then prompted Uche to name a fourth artist if there were a “Big Four.” After a brief pause, she responded:
“Fourth one, I don’t know… it would be Davido.”
