CyberWise, a leading advocate for digital literacy and online safety, has announced its upcoming workshop on Cybersecurity Awareness and Cyberbullying Enlightenment specifically designed for secondary schools.
The workshop, set to take place on scheduled dates across selected schools, aims to empower students, educators and school administrators with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
In an era where cyber threats and online harassment are on the rise, CyberWise said it is committed to fostering a generation of digitally savvy individuals who can protect themselves and others from the dangers of the online world. This workshop is a proactive step toward creating safer digital environments for students and equipping them with the skills to combat cyberbullying and cybercrime.
The primary goal of the workshop is to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and the impact of cyberbullying. Through interactive sessions, real-life case studies and expert-led discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of common cyber threats including social engineering, phishing, hacking and identity theft.
Participants will also learn practical strategies to protect personal information and maintain online privacy, develop empathy and resilience to address and prevent cyberbullying in their communities and understand the legal and ethical implications of online behaviour.

The workshop will be held at Command Day Secondary, Ikeja, Lagos on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10 am and at Command Day Secondary, Oshodi, Lagos on March 25, 2025, at 11 am.
A workshop was held earlier in the year, on February 26, at Yeshua High School, Ojodu, Lagos.
