Ademola Lookman reckoned Atalanta deserved to beat Stuttgart in Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash.
La Dea defeated their hosts 2-0 to continue their impressive run of form.
Lookman and Zaniolo scored both goals for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
The 27-year-old said they can be happy with their performance in the game.
“We had a positive first half. We created dangerous moments in the game, so (the aim was to) just keep doing what we were doing,” the winger told Uefa.com.
“We knew the chances would come and we took them. We’re happy with the three points and we’ll keep going.”
Lookman has so far registered eight goals and five assists in 13 games across all competitions for Atalanta this season.
