A Nigerian businesswoman has cried out after discovering that her sales rep stole goods worth thousands of naira from her shop — just hours after receiving her salary.
The incident was shared in a video posted on TikTok, where the distraught vendor could be heard expressing her shock and disappointment.
According to her, she and her husband had stormed the sales rep’s apartment after suspecting foul play.
Upon confronting her, the husband demanded that she bring out everything she had taken from the shop. To their dismay, several looted items were recovered.
In the video, the businesswoman, still in disbelief, said: “I paid her salary yesterday, yet you stole from me.”
She went on to express how betrayed she felt, especially after showing trust and paying the sales rep promptly.
