Babajide Omoworare, a former senior special assistant on National Assembly matters to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has joined the Osun State gubernatorial race.
Omoworare will be contesting for the seat of the governor in Osun State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In preparation for his governorship ambition, Omoworare on Friday inaugurated a three-man team for the purpose of mobilising supporters across the 30 Local Government Areas of the state.
While announcing his plan to run for governor, Omoworare’s supporters and some leaders of the party affirmed that his popularity would be a major asset for his victory in the 2026 governorship poll.
Addressing his supporters at the event, the governorship aspirant commended the coordinating members of the team.
