Former presidential aide, Femi Adesina, has revealed one thing Nigerians would miss about the late ex-President, Muhammadu Buhari.
As DAILY POST earlier reported, Buhari died while receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness in London, United Kingdom, on Sunday.
He was said to have been ill for some time.
Buhari served as President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023 and was widely accused of leading the country into economic hardship.
During his presidency, Buhari spent at least 225 days outside Nigeria on medical trips.
His longest was in May 2017, when he departed for London on a medical pilgrimage lasting 104 days.
It remains unclear what ailment Buhari was being treated for, but Nigerians were asked to “pray” for him.
Appearing on Channels Television after the death of his former principal, Adesina was asked what he thought the nation would miss most about Buhari.
In response, Adesina said, “His love for Nigeria; Buhari loved Nigeria.”
