Khosi Twala, Winner of Big Brother Titans, Still Waiting for Prize Money
Khosi Twala, the winner of the inaugural season of Big Brother Titans, has revealed that she has not yet received her prize money.
Twala, a 25-year-old journalist from South Africa, won the show in April 2022 and was awarded a $100,000 cash prize. However, she has yet to receive the money.
In a recent interview with TV3 Ghana, Twala said that she has been in contact with the show's organizers, but they have not been able to provide her with an update on when she will receive the money.
“I'm starting to get a bit worried,” she said. “I need the money to pay my bills and support my family. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if I don't get the money soon.”
The show's organizers have not yet commented on the situation.
Twala's story has sparked outrage among fans of the show, who are demanding that the organizers release the prize money.
“It's not fair that Khosi has to wait so long to get her prize money,” said one fan on Twitter. “She won the show fair and square, and she deserves to be paid.”
Another fan said, “The organizers of Big Brother Titans need to get their act together and release Khosi's prize money. She's been waiting long enough.”
It remains to be seen when Twala will receive her prize money. However, her story is a reminder that even reality TV winners are not immune to financial hardship.
