Annie Macaulay is forging a new path for her brand as she publicly declares plans for her TV station amid navigating her separation from Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba.
During the recently held 17th Headies Awards on April 28, 2025, Annie granted an interview with BBC Pidgin where she announced that she is working on launching her own online television station, Annie Macaulay TV.
The Nollywood actress and reality star revealed that her media venture is already underway, with a new series set to air soon.
“Right now I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon,” she said.
When asked about her personal life, Annie expressed gratitude for her family’s resilience during this transitional period.
“My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe. My first daughter is abroad studying, don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids, they are my backbone,” she proudly shared.
Annie also made headlines at the event after giving a public shoutout to fellow single ladies, a moment that quickly went viral and sparked discussions online.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has also been in the news recently for reconciling publicly with his mother, Rose Idibia, after a previously reported period of family tension.
Both Annie and 2Baba seem to be embracing new beginnings, each making strides in their personal and professional journeys.
